Wood Siding on the front of the house nearly complete

The wood siding is reclaimed from the old 2″x lumber that was salvaged from the prior house when we deconstructed it. We’ve yet to put on the front awning, the front stairs, front deck and a fair amount of landscaping, stay tuned…



lots of sawdust

planing the wood (from the old house) and shaping it (to put a drip edge on it) with the table saw


has created quite a bit of sawdust, but it’s great for keeping the mud down on the path in the garden.


Portland YouthBuilders visit

I gave a tour to a group of young adults from Portland YouthBuilders – apparently the students enjoyed the tour as we’ll be having another group out soon.
